Can this be corrected? Like, is there a way to make it so Desync is not so crazy?

If you play on your closest server, it won't be much of an issue.

Finally someone has made a proper side-by-side video comparison showing the effects of desync from both POV’s AND it's done in a high production quality with pointers and comments as well In this video you've shown the most common and the most frequent occurring desync happenings which are constantly happening all throughout GR’s the whole you’re racing. Much of the blaming of bad driving and ramming etc, is actually due to people not understanding the importance of the role that desync plays in people’s instinctual reactions to what they are seeing on *their screen* when it’s NOT the same thing the other person is seeing on *their own screen.* About 2 years ago now, due to many frustrations with competitive players constantly blaming each other for ‘bad driving’, resulting in drama and disputes etc just because the particular game in question had horrendous amounts of extremely bad desync. I decided to take it upon myself to write up a lengthy and detailed explanation of desync (referred to as netcode in that game) and to really analyze why it happens, and how to minimize/avoid it from happening as much as possible. It’s proven to be a very useful bit of information for the competitive community and the people who read it really understood what to do differently/better in the future when driving in online lobbies. It’s also helped players to realize just how much of an impact netcode/desync has and that most of the problems of bumping/ramming etc is not because of other drivers driving poorly, but because of how the game treats player positions. Even though I wrote this for a different game, the general logic of it still applies to Motorfest very accurately as much of the same things are still experienced, just in different degrees of severity.
