Deadly Spider versus a Lizard

Around our house we have hundreds of Redbacks. They are everywhere. Normally they eat beetles but occasionally something larger like this lizard.
I produce videos on a bunch of topics from bees to prospecting and a stack of stuff in between but many of them show off the use of traditional vintage tools. If you see a tool that you would like for your own I probably won't sell you mine but I may have another in stock or I can get one from France, Germany, Japan or wherever. I make little bit of money from selling tools but mostly I just like to share them and share how to use them.

I found a single red back on our outdoor table where I sit everyday. Easy to tell other than visual. The web when touched is one of the strongest in the spider world. Stu you had me cracking up 😂 throughout this video. Thanks 🍺🍺

Yeah on the underside of surfaces is something to really watch. Inadvertently sticking your hand under a seat is not a good idea.

Yeah that's nature Stuart, I think you did the right thing letting it take it's course. I probably would have gone back with a can of fly spray after to. More so to reduce the risk of the kids getting bitten. But you know, they're everywhere so awareness is better. But close around the house is a bit risky. Live and live I guess, but I'm not really a fan of spiders. Except those cute lil jumping spiders. They're cool.

There are literally hundreds of them. I didn't have a good pic for the thumbnail so I went out looking for one to photograph. Took me 5 minutes to find a bunch. No real big ones though.

Nature has to take its course. You save the lizard which probably has already been bitten, will probably die, and if the spider doesn't eat, then it will die.

Yeah its the sad truth. Kind of puts our practice in perspective. We don't tend to eat things while they are still alive.
