There are soooo many men like that around. And unfortunately so many beautiful young women who have no understanding of their own worth and value. After 2 failed marriages to narcissistic, abusive men, I've finally learnt that my identity is found in Christ. My value and worth come from him. This is a demonic spirit that seeks to destroy women because Satan hates us with a passion. There was a time when I really thought that I needed that approval and "love" of a man, but now, unless Jesus is his standard, and 1st place in his life, I'm absolutely not interested. Ladies, don't be desperate, you are throwing your pearls to pigs, and you will suffer terribly for it.

Totally agree!!! 💯💯💯 😢 He was a severe abuser, dangerous and unfortunately she was under the statistics of high rate of domestic murder in this country. There were obvious signs but both of these ladies were fools to continue to not go against him. Ridiculous!!! Luckily God gave the poor wife strength to have him convicted in the end. Moral of the story, stay away from young women if your married and avoid married individuals!!! The mistress bothered me because she continued to protect him even after knowing he tried to kill his wife. That should have gave me alarm bells, along with the abuse but she was young & very dumb & callous. True story about Tammy Petrin. The movie is a little different and they changed some stuff around.

Based on the real life story of Ronald Harnois. The girl in this movie, Bobbi, was based on Tammy Petrin. At the time of this movie, it states that Bobbi's murder was unsolved. As of 2000 Ronald was found guilty of Tammy's murder. Had had contacted Steve Wilson to commit the murder who also shot the janitor Jenner Villeda. Steve died before he could be charged. Ronald is serving multiple life sentences for murder and attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, aiding and abetting, bigamy, possession of a bomb and fourth degree arson. 3 life sentences 1 without parole + 10 years for the conspiracy. Really nice guy. 🙄

This movie reminds me of the time I went to see my boyfriend at his house - unannounced, something I had never done before. I was surprised to find cars surrounding the house and all over the driveway. There was a party going on, a party I knew nothing about. I knocked on the door and my boyfriend, along with a cute blonde came to the door. He didn't look so good when he saw me and didn't open the door, but said hi to me through the open screen. The cute blond went back to the party and he eventually told me that he had been seeing said blond for two years. He had mentioned her by name and other 'friends' all the time, a neat trick and really despicable. He went on to marry her, she divorced him in no time and he married someone else, had children he didn't want with her and continued to cheat on her, at first with his employer's daughter and many other women. Unfortunately I met another creep. Once again I went to his house early on a Saturday morning with breakfast, because we would not have an opportunity to see each other for a few days. I knocked on the door, rang the bell and got no answer. I waited and rang the bell again while looking through the window in the front door. I was in time to see my boyfriend, wearing nothing but grey underwear, duck into the kitchen. I rang the bell and knocked on the door non stop then. This time I saw a blond woman come downstairs from the bedroom and head into the kitchen. I could see her but not my boyfriend. She looked mad, and kept pointing to the door and waving her hands around. He called me later to ask me if I had come to see him, that he thought he had heard the doorbell but wasn't sure. A really bad liar. When I mentioned the blond he said, "Oh yeah, she's just a neighbor who dropped by." Like I said, a really bad liar. No wonder I prefer dogs now.

Notice first something small, then flattery, then lie promises person wants to hear, then physical petting, next more petting and some pretext to take off clothing in private place. Then social interactions, then lies found out. Then blame others, offer golden nugget maybe marriage or money or success or position. Then derogratory remarks, then physical arm grabbing and hitting, then containment by making other lose job and drive away family and friends and always promising better to get what narc wants. Wow, what a nightmare this character is, a true malignant narcissist in every way. If this movie is based on reality, I hope he ended up in prison for a very long time.

It is an interesting film to see and learn from male behavior. The wife and girlfriend do play some interesting roles, sad, funny and naive at moments. It feels good when he is caught by the Police. It is an entertaining story.

He messed up showing up at his wife's accident, I think. How did he know to show up? How did he get there? He's Supposed to be somewhere, looking at a car, waiting on her, but somehow he knew something happened? I bet that cop will catch on. He's already suspicious. Two explosions? Highly unlikely, Tommy poo!

Signs and symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition describes nine overarching characteristics: Lacks empathy and is unwilling to identify with the needs of others. They seem to have no desire for real connection. They don’t feel empathy for people in trouble. Has an overblown sense of self-importance. They might mentally check out when you start talking, even when you’re trying to relate to something they just said. Behaves as if they are exceptionally “special” and can only be understood by or associate with other special people (or institutions). They might be indifferent or even rude to people they think are “below” them. They may care more about making a good impression than anything else. Needs to be admired. They may go to great lengths to make sure everyone is aware of their successes and accomplishments. They may get unreasonably angry if they feel humiliated or criticized. Has an unrealistic sense of entitlement and expects others to give them special treatment. They may come undone when corrected, put out, or treated as if they are “common.” Exploits and takes advantage of others to achieve their own goals. They may frequently use other people for their own gain. They might add others on social media for the sole purpose of getting more “likes” but never return the favor. Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of them. They may disparage people they are envious of and point out reasons why those people shouldn’t be admired. They can’t seem to accept that others are genuinely more successful. Displays arrogant behaviors and attitudes. They may constantly talk about their success, influence, or attractiveness. For instance, they might brag about how much they get hit on but then “complain” about it. Regularly talks about their fantasies of success, power, or recognition for their brilliance. Conversations may primarily revolve around the kind of luxury car they want or other material or shallow desires.

I’m not sure which is stranger, that some creeps actually try this stuff and get away with it, or that some people actually go for it.... 2 reasons might be.... because he wants what he’s can’t have, and she wants what someone else has. It’s another reason I’m skeptical marriage. Because, so many people do it for the wrong reasons and wind up wishing for someone else🦉
