I've been a deadmau5 fan for at least a decade, and his disciple Rezz is my new favorite. She's different, but you can tell she LEARNED from deadmau5 not just MIMICKED him. Her style is a lot closer to psytrance and downtempo, but with many of those crucial elements in composition that make deadmau5 so unique (and definitely his influence of 90s trance and acid house carried on to Rezz). Check her out, she may be a bit too hypno downtempo for you but I think it's at least worth appreciation.

@@sarahsays4917 he used to have his show called coffee run on KZbin, but I usually look up the names of the artists that I like. Especially to avoid the confusions with music groups. For example: Michael Cassette is a group, Cahill is a group, Camelphat is. Joel is very notable artist because he brought progressive house into the mainstream music. I say mainstream, because there where other artists long before him producing progressive music, but more for the underground audience. His famous deadmau5 head is probably what made him even more popular. Artists like Avicii followed soon, that used the same style. Mind you, progressive keeps returning to mainstream every now and then, but it seems to be sticking now, longer than ever. As opposed to how we lost Andre Tanneberger (ATB) from the picture in the early 2000s. I know Joel doesn't like to label his early songs as any genre, but, it is truly, at it's core, progressive house. Well, this song is the best example why it is and at the same time, isn't. :D
