Fun fact: He based the spelling off a Final Fantasy VIII creature referred to as a Guardian Force called Quezacotl. Legend has it that the game devs had to shorten its name from Quetzalcoatl (the actual spelling of the Aztec deity) to Quezacotl due to character limitations of early video games. I have a 3 year old son who finds comfort listening to Deadmau5. It relaxes him. He has his own noise cancelling headphones and will listen to Deadmau5 for days. My heart is full knowing he loves Joel's music. When I showed him this song; he knows that special sound, and he instantly knew who it was and started dancing. I didn't want to listen to this song until I have the time to sit down infront of my HiFi setup to really celebrate my first ever time listening to it and it happened that I didn't get around to do that until today. But also today at work I put on one of the latest Above & Beyond radio mixes as the background music and a bit later I'm suddenly like "something sounds oddly like deadm... wait a second, that is clearly deadmau5! Is must be... *checks the website* ... yes it's the new song, dammit". Even though it hurt doing so, I skipped the song, because I didn't want to fully hear it on my shitty speakers at work.
