@@adityaverma8581 For you too, but it's a different experience watching the movies as opposed to growing up with them. I was 14 in 1998, when Blade came out. Then 16 in 2000, when the first X-Men came out. This kind of time lapse where you can see the superhero movie segment mature as you yourself mature is not quite the same thing as being able to watch a bunch of these movies in row, years after they've been made. And I would consider the first X-Men the first good superhero movie. I know some people will hate on me, but all the previous ones were bad, including Superman (1978). And Blade wasn't exactly a superhero movie, or at least it wasn't perceived that way by people like me, who didn't read comics.
@adityaverma8581

@@JustGrowingUp84 True, for me the experience is only about a few years, decades is on a whole another level. The Blade movies were PURE entertainment. It was Marvel's X-Men, Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk when superhero movies started gaining substance. The only superhero I didn't recognize was Elektra, those movies weren't as popular in India, so I didn't have the CDs and they never aired. I watch a movie per 2 weeks now, so I'll watch them. Honourable mention - Man of Steel starring Henry Cavil and CW's Superman are the best Supermen I've seen. I wouldn't hate on you for what you think, because what movies/series came earlier were either too corny or didn't age well. Thanks for agreeing, you are probably the most friendly person I've found yet on the internet.

Gambit's accent is apparently spot on, just as they talk in Louisiana. Cajun accent mixed with a few French words here and there. Channing Tatum was supposed to play Gambit for Fox for quite a few years, but it never happened until this movie. Hence all the jokes about being born in the Void and not saving lives.

This film is definitely a love letter to the Fox era of Marvel movies. Now that Marvel has the movie rights to the X-Men again, they’ll be developing their own X-Men content for the MCU. The same goes for the Fantastic Four, who are now under Disney/Marvel. With Fantastic Four: First Steps coming in 2025, it's shaping up to be one of the biggest films of the year. Both of these IPs will now be part of the MCU, bringing us a universe that’s more in line with the comics, where we’ll see the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men all together in the same world. Hugh Jackman will most likely return as Wolverine for future projects but Marvel will 100% recast Wolverine somewhere down the line for their reboot.
@TheHighSorcerer
@TheHighSorcerer 22 күн бұрын
It's inevitable, really. Wolverine may not age but Hugh Jackman sure as hell does and he'll only want to do it for so long. They'll find someone else, hopefully just as good as Jackman, but we need to get used to the idea now that they're going to recast him.

@busimagen You need to know the behind the scenes details to get the reference. Whether it was fox or Touchtone is irrelevant. Quick notes on it for you. Ryan wanted to play Deadpool and got the part in Wolverine Origins, he read the script and told them that his character wasn't Deadpool, they basically blackmailed him by saying either shut up and act how we wrote it or you ne er get to play Deadpool again. Then after he finished and started doing The Proposal, Origins had a screen test and received backlash on how they did Deadpool in the movie, big backlash. They contacted Ryan to do reshoots for the Deadpool end scenes and he turned them down because he was already contracted for The Proposal. Kind of his way of telling them to stuff it after how they treated him. So the 4th wall break was a quick reminder jab at those producers/writers

Guess a Morbius one could work. Maybe one including also Ghost Rider and Doctor Strange. Given those last 2 have to do with supernatural and punishing evil. But the rest of xmen? Fantastic 4? @@galadballcrusher8182 Other than Blade and Laura, do you think those other characters would be considered "not needed" if their movies were a success? The only franchise that didn't "flop" would be Blade but I rarely hear people talk about the 2nd or 3rd film as much as the first one. Both Daredevil and Elektra movies underperformed. "That's cuz he didn't say anything" -- He actually did! The accent is cajun, which occasionally code switches into French, which that line was. Since you're in France and, I presume, speak a little of it, I thought you might have caught it. But maybe it was some region-specific phrase that's been warped beyond all recognition, I know how regional dialects can be lol

Yes, that was my bad. He DID say something but you know what the issue was? He said it with a Cajun accent plus his English accent which made it a little harder for me to understand. My ears learned the French European accent and it's difficult for me to sometimes understand even the French Canadian accent haha (brains are weird). So yeah, you can hear a little bit of his remaining English accent in the word: "Rouler". To be honest, after watching this movie a few times, I think he did a very good job 😮

1:18 I'm really excited for Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) since it looks like Marvel Studios now with the rights to F4 will do the team justice. Unlike 20th Century Fox, who never really knew how to handle the IP, the new film seems super promising. So, it's no surprise you didn't enjoy the previous adaptation. Until then, The Incredibles (2004) will remain the definitive Fantastic Four movie. It sucks being a Fantastic Four fan and watching them get done dirty in the movies, especially when we know how amazing these characters are in the comics and how crucial they are to the Marvel Universe. There Marvel's First Family, they’ve played a key role in almost all of Marvel's biggest storylines and we need to see that moving forward. But yeah... do not watch Fantastic Four (2015). If you gave Fantastic Four (2005) a 3/10, I can't even imagine what you'd give the reboot.

Logan and Victor both have healing factors, but having different mothers is probably why they have different kinds of claws. Ryan was in a Blade movie, and Wesley didn't like his sense of humour. The Daredevil series was definitely better than the movie. Ryan's wife played Ladypool, his daughter played Kidpool, his baby voiced Babypool. Watch X-Men '97, it picks up where the old cartoon left off. Most of the voice actors reprise their roles, and Gambit is in it.

Great reaction Amanda like always. Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool wasn’t something thought of for just this movie, Rob Liefeld said he based Ladypool on Blake Lively because he and his wife were obsessed with Gossip Girl and he said in a dreamworld, the only person he would think of to cast for her is Blake. So it was fate, 10 years in the making. The other people who played the notable variants of Deadpool were: Nathan Fillion as Headpool Matthew McConaughey as Cowboypool Wrexham A.F.C. player Paul Mullin as Welshpool Reynolds's stunt double Alex Kyshkovych as Canadapool And finally Reynolds and Lively's children Inez and Olin Reynolds as Kidpool and Babypool Wesley Snipes now holds Guinness World (for now) records in 2 categories: 1) Longest time span between first and most recent appearances by the same actor as the same Marvel character (26 years between BLADE (1998) and now). Patrick Stewart previously held this record (22 years), with Hugh Jackman and Tyler Mane (Sabertooth) also surpassing Stewart (24 years). 2) Longest gap between 2 most recent appearances as that character (20 years since BLADE: TRINITY). Until now! You know Channing Tatum is Cajun, right? Just like Gambit? And he was definitely overdoing the accent for this but that was intentional. I think he's fantastic as Gambit! Love how other creators insult Gambit's accent for being too hard, probably thinking it's exaggerated for senseless comedy, basically indirectly insulting actual people that speak in a cajun accent while probably thinking they're doing the opposite! Channing Tatum actually has been trying to get a Gambit movie made for the last 10-15 yrs. He actually wanted to play Gambit in the x men movie. And If anyone could replace Jackman it's Henry. He should also be James Bond and still be Superman. They guy should be the number one action star, but in these woke times, we all miss out on what he could do. Elektra not giving a single sht about Daredevil died was low-key hilarious. Ben Affleck (Daredevil) is Jennifer Garner's ex-husband for the few who dont know. So the dog that played as Dogpool. Her real name is Peggy and her real owner is Holly Middleton, and her dog is a 5-year-old pug and Chinese crested mix with a protruding tongue, she was rescued by a family because nobody wanted to adopt her because of her appearance. And that is the problem with this world. They are so quickly to judge for no reason. So I don’t care what she looks like. I’m just happy that she has a home. Sometimes people have to understand that looks don’t matter even with animals. And for people that always judge, and make fun of of her appearance, shame on them. And Dogpool is an actual comic book character. In the comics, Wilson the dog aka Dogpool was subjected to animal testing by a cosmetics company called Babeline in a project called Mascara-X, which sought to create a product that would grant customers eternal youth. And Dogpool has the same powers as Deadpool. The montage in the credits feels like the end, because it is the end. This movie is a Deadpool movie, but its also the swan song of Pre-Disney Marvel filmography. It's the death of the 20th Century Fox Xmen Universe, and the others in the void represent the death of their respective earlier universes that didn't work out or had run their course: Blade, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and Channing Tatum's Gambit which just missed being made. Disney will soon introduce their version of the X-men and Fantastic Four into the MCU. Keep up the good work.

I f-ing loved this movie! I think the story is the weaker part of the movie but thanks to all the great things we get to see in Deadpool and Wolverine I don't think it takes much, if anything, away from the overall experience. Deadpool and Wolverine can't go further from what is currently being pushed by Disney and if their previous Marvel/Star Wars flops didn't make them realize that's not what fans want, maybe $1+ BILLION earned by Deadpool and Wolverine will. BTW, the comics Wolverine is 160 cm tall, which is why he's so small in Wade's first alternate universe visit.

Colossus in the Deadpool movies is the more accurate version than in the X-Men movies because he's accurate height & he speaks with a Russian accent. Shatterstar being there is kinda weird, Cable or Domino would have made more sense, but at least Firefist wasn't there, thank God, because he was an annoying teenage poser (or a chav If you're British)! Nothing against the actor, but hated the character. Weasel would have made a lot more sense, but he didn't return because of TJ Miller's controversal erratic behaviour & there was a fallout between him & Ryan Reynolds. The different Wolverines: 1. He is actually short in the comics. Accurate height. 2. The one hand version is from the Age of Apocalypse comic. 3. Logan's Patch persona, originally an alias he used when he was in Madripoor. 4. Logan being crucified happend in the Uncanny X-Men comics. 5. Logan in his 2nd well known costume, the yellow & brown, and when we see Hulk in his adamantium claws, that's from a Hulk comicbook cover (not the Hulk comic where Wolverine made his debut). 6. That's the Old Man Logan version. 7. And of course, The Cavillrine, Henry Cavill as a Wolverine variant. That's Headpool, he's a Deadpool variant from the Marvel Zombies universe. And he's voiced by Nathan Fillion.

The reason the brother joke exists after Sabertooth shows up is because of the crappy movie X-men Origins Wolverine where they made them brothers for some stupid reason even though they aren't in almost every other version. Considering this movie and Marvel in general has been doing multiverse it's completely possible in some versions, but back then in the Fox movies it not only was odd but was one of several reasons why the Fox X-men movies have issues being accurate within their own series.

I have a theory that this film was tasked with bringing all the other Marvel films into the MCU and it succeeded.
