It's actually not one "button" you press and he dies, it's one "combo" you have to do and he dies. And even then it's not one combo you have to do and he dies, it's 3 combos you have to do.. and then he dies. It's not as easy as you think.

Back before there was an online community for consoles I used to enjoy playing by myself in training or against the computer to learn all the characters in a fighting game but I couldn't do it after the fighting game resurgence. Playing alone gets so boring but whether you go alone or online you've gotta sink A LOT of time into this game to "git good".

I do enjoy sitting in training and learning things, doing combos and such things, but I do feel like if you can't play against other people online the game may lack quite a bit of longevity, I mean aren't fighting games basically made to play against other people either offline or online? I mean unless you play for the story but I don't. Also I would specifically need it for PS3 which may kill my chances to find people even further, I don't know which console has the most active playerbase or which version of the game plays the best.

team aerial counter: anticipate the direction in which you think the opponent will go for, like if they go up, you go up, and press S while holding up to counter it. crossover counter: when you're in blockstun, hold forward and press the assist button of the character you want to bring in.
