I also feel this reflects well on Ghost Rider. We've seen the Stare crispy critter beings FAR stronger than Wade. He's actually not. He, unknowningly, had a angels protection at that time. If your wondering I believe it was during the time when they were playing with Frank's origin to make him more mystical. Later on when frank doesn't have that protection he gets affected by the stare just like every one else.

@@michealfoster4411 Interesting, I have not read that but what I was referring to was Red Hulk's Thunderbolts. Long story short, they disbanded (Rulk, Punisher, Deadpool, Elektra, Ghostrider and Agent Venom) and there was a confrontation between Frank and Ghostrider and he used the Penance Stare and it did not affect Frank at all, and his own words after GR questioned why it does not affect him he said "I regret nothing". -Thunderbolts 2013 Issue 29

People forget or unaware of Deadpool's actual insanity. He's not just some "Hehe, funny man said a thing." joke character. His brain cells constantly regenerate and his mind is absolute chaos. He's also brutally depressed and suicidal, but, you know. He can't die.
