They could have had him in a cell for all the incursions he had committed in the post-credits of Deadpool 2, and then shown him sneaking out of the Illuminati building in a post-credit scene. Fun Fact: The reason why Scarlet Witch didn't sense Deadpool is because Deadpool's artificial enhanced mutation to his body is soo strong that he developed a psychic shield that protect's him from psychic/psionic powers like telekinesis (to some degree I think), telepathy, mind control, and so on. This also helps him be immune or resistant from psychic attacks.

Thats all tantamount to semantics, but it kind of proves my point about how pointless a plot mechanism it is - if you ask that question, then one must therefore assume that they’ll all die anyway, thus making it extremely telegraph-able and basically the very definition of predictable. Either way you slice it they have been doin’ the whole multiversal scenario in both the movies and the shows, it’s totally reasonable to think they could keep someone. I mean technically isn’t the movie about Wanda getting back some children who weren’t even real to begin with and haven’t they been a concrete conceptualized plot mechanism that’s driven on for a couple seasons of the Disney+ series, as well as movies? Either way, could’ve been better. We’ll never know which scenario would’ve truly been better, just sounds better to me.
