This is what happens when 4th wall breaking characters are told to kill each other, they will eventually get bored and go fuck around via 4th wall shenanigans. Besides, given what they said about the 2 characters, i'm not sure either one could successfully kill the other even if they did fight to the death.

The death battle was a little over the top and had too many random things happening all at once. Nothing made sense. And maybe this was for jokes and laughs but it just wasn't the kind of comedy fans were looking for. A Death Battle between Tom & Jerry VS Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck would have probably been a better way to get everyone laughing their asses off.

If their going to do something like this. In my opinion. They need to start doing actual battles still. That’s the problem though. When you complain about the fight being a waste of time because it’s a joke battle rather than something serious like Ken vs Terry, you kind of start to look like brats in the long run. It’s like saying they’re not allowed to have any joke battles at all- doubly so when they say only bronies would ever consider defending this episode ever. MLP isn’t my thing at all, but I liked the battle for how out of control the 4th wall breaking got. If they don’t like the battle because it doesn’t fit their tastes, then that would have been fine, but that’s not what’s happening here.
