Her being revealed in this way with that quote took my hype levels and cranked it to the max. I think most people will feel this way. You will always have people that don't want spoilers. My best friend is like that and won't watch any trailers to any movie he wants to see.

I think a lot of people speculated since the first trailer that she's the one Logan was talking to during the "Believe me, kid, I'm no hero" scene. But man, that line gave me chills.

It literally comes out in a week😭 it’ll still be fresh on everyone’s mind. So that’s a good thing. Plus Deadpool 2 gave off so many spoilers in its trailers but when the movie came out it was literally 3x as much as spoilers in the movie that we didn’t know about . JURGANOT being one of the biggest ones.

Was wondering if you would react to this revelatory trailer, Chainsaw. I do wish they saved X-23 til the movie. However, since we haven’t seen the other cameos regarding the alleged resistance in The Void, including Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, and they haven’t revealed who will be playing the variants of Deadpool (including Lady Deadpool) yet, I still think more is still left for surprise on the weekend of the movie’s theatrical release and I hope it stays that way. Plus maybe she was purposefully revealed in this trailer because she has an important somewhat semi-major role in this movie.

I mean I just thought it was kind of weird that Marvel would recommend the comic that has Old Man Logan from Another Universe teaming up with Laura's Wolverine and Gabrielle AKA Honey Badger. In those Comics Old Man Logan winds up in the main universe. If I'm remembering correctly there was some Secret Wars shenanigans that was responsible for that. With Marvel taking inspiration from the comics I wouldn't be surprised if they do a spin on this. Just speculation on my end. Really can't wait to watch the movie.

@@ChainsawReacts IMO it would be the perfect solution to the casting conundrum. Feige himself has said that Hugh Jackman is impossible to replace, because of how thoroughly he defined the role. Any actor they try to replace him with will always be compared against him. But by having X-23 take up the cowl instead, you have the bonus of a young up-and-coming actress getting VERY positive responses for her roles in His Dark Materials and The Acolyte, which aren't exactly small genre projects. Dafne Keen is someone who, if she doesn't simply tire of the role, (and everything I've read is she absolutely loves playing Laura. IIRC she's even said she'd love to do NYX, which shows she's not afraid to tackle the darker parts of her character head on) could remain with the franchise for a long time, whereas the 30 or 40-somethings who play most of the lead superhero roles have a very limited amount of time they can physically keep at it. Keen shows signs of being a generational talent, and IMO she's by FAR the better actress than Millie Bobby Brown, who's the one getting most of the mainstream attention right now (I also think MBB is starting to suffer from poor project selections, and just plain audience fatigue). I think she could absolutely handle filling Jackman's shoes.
