Good review Jeremy! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll try not to spoil much here. I appreciated certain lines and cameos but overall I think I'm "outgrowing" aspects of and most MCU movies. (Having said that I can't wait for the Daredevil show to come out, but since that originated on Netflix that series has a different, more mature feel to it which will hopefully continue.) That opening fight scene was something for sure. 😂 I've read some of the X-Men comics, but not enough to know that Professor X has a sister, if she was even in the comics. To me it felt like she came out of nowhere, which bothered me a bit. I did enjoy the cameos, especially Elektra. And seeing Wolverine in the classic costume was fun. I didn't like that version of Wolverine though. Which is a huge testament to how talented Hugh Jackman is as an actor. He came back to play a character he thought he was done with after Logan, and gave the character a different personality and attitude. Well done to him for sure. I'm used to Deadpool using the f bombs but honestly they felt forced and over done coming from Wolverine. Mind you, Wolverine and Rogue are my two favorite X-Men characters, so maybe I was watching too critically. I did like how they showed Gambit's powers, but not the actor who they chose to play him. I did enjoy this one. I loved how they brought back some older characters. I laughed when the Cap revealed he was The Flame. Most people forgot he played the Flame too.
