Awwww I loved this !! I am one of the IG friends who got to meet the wonderful Krista in person this past summer. She is totally awesome. It’s so nice to know a fellow person who is artistic and has usher syndrome too. Find your passion and go for it! Adjust or change as needed. ❤ Nice to find this channel too. Giving it a follow!

Hi Krista! Ushers people can do amazing things. Krista burns wood, nate fixes cars, I sell B2B door-to-door. Thousands do even more remarkable things. Keep the podcast going!

Thank you for sharing. I was born hearing impaired and started wearing glasses suddenly when I was in college. It wasn't until my late 30s that something was up. Dx with RP. Was able to drive a few more years. We live out in rural country so it made a challenge to arrange rides when hubby can't. Now just turned 60 and just started using the cane especially when people that know me keeps forgetting I can't see like I used to. Thank you again for sharing 😊

@@reaw.3344 Thank YOU for taking the time to watch and leave a nice comment. As someone who isn’t legally blind from RP yet, I appreciate you sharing your timeline as I find that data interesting.

I love this and so relatable. I lost the majority of my vision in the past 4 years. I had to give up driving almost instantly. Eventhough I got a greate public transport system it is still more inconvinient. My onset for visionlos started at the age of 37. I am now 41 and got a FOV of 25° horizontal and less than 20° verticaly.

Thanks for checking out this episode! I hope you check out more :) I also appreciate you sharing your timeline. It’s helpful for me as I’m not yet considered legally blind and I’m 34 with RP.
