I wish the interviewer stop interrupting Matt. Let him finish his answer.

Why didn't the UFC want to instal lights to help Matt be aware of the 10 second bell? Anyway, Good interview.

It really interesting!! It is so beautiful to see that! I'm learning Asl so I can communicate with deaf kids and adults. I love being deaf hard of hearing. They uses technology to help others to understand.

It's sad how impersonal the subtitles make him seem. His signing is so much more heartfelt and beautiful than the words they put to it.

This is the only interview I've seen of Matt Hamill where he uses ASL. I think he should insist on a translator when he's interviewed. He seem more expressive when using his own language.

@henrooo i know i was thinking that too, hitting him on the shoulder to stop seemed a little unprofessional as far as ufc goes
@opheliaroxs1712 жыл бұрын
You want to register at a college (if you're a college aged student) with a basic ASL 1 class and go on from that to ASL 2 and ASL 3. If you just want to learn the language that will be enough if you want to make a career and go onto become a translator take Deaf prespective, fingerspelling and basic interpreting =)

PS, I'm basing my opinions on multiple interviews over a course of time, and just citing examples in this one for convenience... My point being I'm not just prematurely judging based on this sole interview. These are just the charecter traits that I myself have noticed over time watching many interviews. K that's all, I'm done.

I know this isn't PC, and perhaps I will receive a series of trolls from a coalition of Deaf individuals defending their savior sent down from providence "Mr. Hamill", But just to be honest I find him incredibly self-absorbed, egocentric, and a bit set on self-grandiosity. Comparing himself to Michael Jordan? Really? He was a B+ collegiate wrestler, and a C- MMA practitioner, just IMHO. Now troll on if you must.

Chrz OC He was just using the Michael Jordan/Bulls thing as a loose comparison.
