Deaf Tunes: World War (PC) - Early Alpha Game play test

A brand new game inspired by the Def Jam series. Many and myself have been waiting a long time for a next-gen release of Def Jam FFNY with multiplayer support. It never came. I decided to pick up the ball and have created the basis of just that.
The current alpha build of the game supports 4 Players local/offline.
Network support is already integrated but not implemented yet. This will be one of the main targets for the next build where we can have mixed local and online players (for example: 2 players local and 2 players online).
To bring some atmosphere there is real-time audio processing that drive the speakers and lights in-game. Custom audio tracks are supported.
There is much to do and I have to find a suitable place to outline more details about the current state of the alpha version, planned features and the continuation of this product.
I really hope you enjoy this video, and that the time and passion invested in developing this demo reflects.

The base of the game is going to be a character creation system. This video is showing gameplay in early alpha stage where both players have the same moveset.

there are 2 grapple moves in the demo and I will expand on that later on (with throws etc.). I haven't focused on a submission system yet.

Yes. Based on a character creation system one can choose to be male or female.

Hi, in fact there is. In theory every controller with at least 8 buttons is supported. For this video I am using a old-school Gravis gamepad pro with D-pad movement for XZibit, and a xbox360 controller (thumbstick movement) for Fat Joe. In my weapons test video I am using a PS2 controller (D-pad) for XZibit and a xbox one controller (thumbstick movement) for Fat Joe. If you look closely, you can see that XZibit moves more "jerky" because of the d-pad movement, and Fat Joe moves more fluid because of the thumbstick movement. Right now, my focus lies with PC and console systems.
