Def Jam didn't fund the game that's 1 and 2 It's still a business If they paid X that amount of money many artists would've expected a similar payout. And like I said before it was a days worth of work to perform voice lines in the game. Intro banter Mid fight taunts Outro banter And maybe some audio messages. These weren’t all day movie shoots at most these were 2 hour sessions. Easy money could’ve given it to his family if he didn’t need the money. @@YeyeJunior

Funny enough, I actually tried to remake DMX in FFNY just by using the custom character creator. Most of that inspiration came from the Vendetta version and it actually went really well together. His move set on the other hand was a bit tricky but I managed to get most of that stuff in to make it as accurate as possible

2 cents for every rapper in the game. If every rapper is tryna get paid for a collab, they company is disincentivized to make the game, because they can make a game the doesn’t have that expense. OR EA Games can pay Def Jam for use of all of their images, and Def Jam can cut the check to the individual artists. Either way, we as the fans lost a classic. WWE still making games and getting wrestlers paid while giving the fans of the series what they want. I guess our people ain’t as business savvy as we think we are.

@@bmstyty3549 For what the game cost and the amount of copies sold, nobody should’ve expected to get a massive payout. For the 40+ celebrities, likeness, and songs, plus royalties. The game would have needed to have been pushing more than the almost 2 million copies it sold. For everyone to get a decent payout. The game sold well. But there’s a reason not many celebrities collab together on games.

Wow, just like May the great DMX rest in peace, we all know that it was not noticed that he was not there,The DJFFNY video game was so incredible that it broke everything and became the best fighting video game of the generation of those consoles, and it is today a classic,There are new fighting video games, but DJ 2 is a classic and it is there again to play, it is like for a generation that buys those machines with large chips and has it in their homes,The DJ is that you just have to have a TV from before for the video game to look good,I always thought that the one with the bulletproof vest was a reference or I didn't get the name right, from 50 Cent, because he had the bulletproof vest like 50 Cent, and always when he saw that character he said it alluded to 50 Cent, who also had his video game, and 2004 coincidentally was the year of 50 Cent,Def Jam 3 went very badly, it's a shame, and Def Jam Vendetta had few artists and was surely a success,It is also a great video game, and it must have been so successful that it gave profits to make the masterpiece of its sequel,I understand what DMX meant, with the first video game, he was a protagonist, but when the second one came out everything was crazy, each unlock was incredible, and he surpassed the artists, the story is impressive, and the artists doing their characters their voices is really something incredible, that something new should be done, now it's difficult, many rappers are complicated, there are problems again, for example Diddy appears in a Def Jam but it is to do karaoke, it is also a great video game but it has nothing to do with DJ 1 and 2,and it would be impressive if they released something similar, although it is impossible, EA Sport no longer does video games like that.
