I agree, he was one of my favorites. He was made out to be this "bad guy" but I always said, he wasn't a bad guy. Someone he loved was framed for a crime he didn't commit and he didn't want his name tarnished more than it was. Even though Monty was a f***er, nobody deserves to be framed. Even Bryce who used to be a f***er tried to turn things around and the "gang" were the ones who did wrong. The saddest part was that the one who wasn't even involved with the murder at all (Justin) was the one who had it worst at the end. I could go on and on... loved the show. Wife literally cried at the end.

I went to middle school and most of my highschool with Deaken he is a Michigan native who comes from a small town. He was bullied so much in highschool to the point that his senior year his parents transfered him because he was beaten up so bad. I believe his role in 13 reasons really his home to his H.S life. I played football with this guy and never bullied him once but the majority of the team were absolute dix to him. I think it's amazing that now he is an absolute success it's so awesome to see someone come out of a podunk town in michigan and actually do something with his amazing acting career. The entire last season of 13 reasons every time he was in a scene I would scream his name to my gf who also whent to H.S with us. His success will be known in our town for generations to come. I hope if he reads this and ever comes back to our town he hits me up I'd love to get a drink with the guy.
