Thanks man! I got into Destiny recently and have stuck with a solar hunter because it tickles my brain when enemies go boom. I was blessed to get sunshot as one of my first exotic drops and lucky pants came soon after. Can't wait to try this out and be a fiery gunslinger!

The only issue is that, no fault of your own, last word doesn't work well with the subclasses as other exotics because it's a kinetic weapon. So I thought, why not try chromatic fire? Found this build a few days ago, returning from a long hiatus. GYATT DAYUM, The Last Word with Lucky Pants can shred a Major up to a Boss. I've been trying to make a "Deadeye/Yeehaw" build for my Hunter, so glad to find this.

@@SatrixPlaysGames I swapped to knock em down for melee Regen and I used combustion char blistering and torches. Also gunpowder gamble sinergises with all ignition fragments, allowing it to recharge your grenade

I found myself switching to Terminun Horizon as my heavy (arc machine gun) as it reminds me of a late 19th century American maxim gun, and I’m all about the old west vibe. I have a roll with demo/adrenaline junkie, so it’s able to keep up with the rest of the build and help charge up the dynamite stick!

When i started playing Destiny 2 again recently (Had to take a break due to medical reasons) i got the Lucky Pants as one of my five first exotics and ive trying to find a way to make yhem wotk and seeing this just answered that prayer! How did you get such high stats? I've only got Discipline in the 100's but struggling to get anything else or armor with high stats to drop

Hey you should make a solar hunter build using young ahamkara spine, and the monte carlo, it is a really busted combo if the right build is used, because, you can use the trip mines to charge melle and grenade, then use the melle to charge your grenade back, use your grenade to get more charge, then use the monte carlo while its still super charged to get MORE MELLE CHARGE, and then using gunpowder gambit just makes this closed loop of throw grenade and knife, get charge for grenade pretty full and knife half way, killl like 2 enemys and have full charge on melle use it to get grenade, use it, you get gunpowder gamble and use it to get both grenade and melle recharged, repeat

Short answer: No...BUT I actually have a playlist that has a cowpoke build for each subclass. However, the Prismatic one is a combination of each of the "mono-color" cowpokes put into a single build, so it will feel different than the build in this video. Long answer: Ehhhhh, kinda but not entirely. Prismatic doesn't have all the same parts. I am taking a quick look at DIM to see how I would "best" translate this into Prismatic, here is a list of the changes: Super -> Golden Gun: Marksman (replaces Golden Gun: Deadshot) Nade -> Grapple or Swarm (replaces Incendiary) Aspect 1 - Gunpowder Gamble (must have ;]) Aspect 2 - Stylish Executioner or Winter's Shroud (replaces On Your Mark) Facets: Mending (replaces Resolve) Ruin (replaces Combustion) Balance (replaces Blistering) Grace (more Transcendence with Last Word) Dawn (boost Last Word damage even more) If you choose Winter's Shroud then add Solitude as well (if you can land lots of precision hits this will be useful, otherwise this is a flexible slot)

The build performs well in endgame content! :] Last Word puts in work on champs. Depending on if you are running solo or not you may have to make a small change here or there. You would have to run double primary if you have to handle Overloads (when solo) OR if playing as a team have someone bring Divinity to Stun them and then you will absolutely wreck them with Lucky Pants + Last Word. Or you could even swap out Last Word ( :[ ) for Warden's Law and be the Divinity for your team. For Unstoppable you can throw your grenade then your melee to trigger an ignition to stun them. Or just use Last Word since we have Unstoppable Handcannon this season. For Barrier, swap out Ember of Resolve with Ember of Torches so you can make you and your team radiant, then you all can stun them.

Crimson is one of the best choices to pair with the lucky pants, actually. All 3 rounds of the burst count as an individual hit so you reach maximum stacks from Lucky Pants extremely fast with Crimson. I think that Sunshot would synergize well with the subclass but I am not sure how good damage would be because I feel like it is more of an add clear hand cannon. But it sounds awesome so I am going to test it lol. I have never thought of using Thorn with it either, it will still receive the damage buff but I do not know if the buff would also apply to the poison ticks. I am assuming it wouldn't but I would need to test it.

@@luisgaona6289 Any time! I just ran a couple of nightfalls to test Thorn and Sun Shot. TL;DR - both are great options in their own way. Thorn = better DPS, Sun Shot = better synergy. Thorn - It can hit really hard but the poison ticks do not appear to be receive the Lucky Pants buff. If you get your self in a situation where there are several Remnants lying around then it feels amazing once Illegally Modded Holster is triggered because of not having to reload. Thorn definitely has potential and I wouldn't mind exploring it more some time in the future. Sun Shot - I used it after Thorn so at first it didn't "feel" strong but it is because Thorn has the poison. Once I realized that, it is actually still hitting plenty hard on it's own but Thorn wins the DPS battle between the two. BUT Sun Shot works very well with the solar fragments. I was triggering ignitions even more frequently with it. So definitely fun to use as well.
