Deal Kent Documentary Part 2 The Country

I am Gloria Fowler let me take you on a fascinating journey around Deal in Kent and all its history, In part two The Country we leave Oldstairs bay and move inland fist visiting St John the Evangelist Church in Kingsdown then make away to kingsdown woods with all it’s bluebells and wild live, then take a further trip into the country and seeing two combine harvesters at work with all its history of farming, then make our way to Ringwould windmill going past Oxney bottom wood with all it spooky events, the windmill also had it’s own unique story, we then journey on to Hawkshill Freedown in Walmer where it use to be an aerodrome in WWI, on the last leg on my journey we visit the village of Great Mongeham and it’s church with all it history
