I'd have absolutely dealt this £64k but you're still talking nearly 3:1 pot odds, so turning down this (and Vikki's similar 2-box offer) certainly doesn't go down as a clear and obvious mistake. Just not a decision I'd ever make - on blue/big red you're looking for whatever is half as useful as that big red, and for the QM I think that's in the £50-60k range for me. £64k is about the lowest offer on this finish that wouldn't tempt me into the chase at all.

£64,000 wasn't a terrible offer, especially with 50p being the fallback. Plus it looked like Anne mainly no dealt at 5 box because she felt silly for accidentally pressing the offer button there and costing herself £5,000 off the offer. Ironically enough had Anne not made that mistake with the Offer Button she probably wouldn't have won the jackpot, as she likely would've dealt the £40,000+ 4 box Button offer she'd have gotten.

I do like how this played out but I think it should have been played out like this. Noel I have to accept your first answer, banker calls he allows Noel to re ask the question at cost. Banker assistant comes out take box 23 and looks in the box. Brings it back out with his dark seal on it and calls back. It said double or nothing. Noel ask the question again…would you risk it knowing it’s now double or nothing.

The first two should be no-brainer no deals, only even starting to approach respectability at maybe the third offer or so in this. UK version, 22 cases, 5 then 3, 3, 3, 3, 3. 8 cases left I could see being maybe 65% of expected value, 5 left 80%, 2 left 90%. If the 250,000 pound case is in play at final 2 there is no excuse for the offer to be less than 100,000 pounds.. In the US version, 26 cases, 6 5 4 3 2 and then 1 case at a time each, once there's 6 cases left and we're in "one at a time" territory I would see offers being at least 70% of EV there. Maybe slightly less if the contestant is in a "1 good case and the rest are shit" situation to punish them for bailing out with any value unless they go a couple times and risk their entire game and succeed, then when they're down to 4 or even waiting until 3 cases, saying "okay, I respect your game play, you have some balls, here's a bailout offer." (This latter point is why the counter-offer was intriduced in recent seasons of DoND US - pretty much a late game move for the player to make a plea of "I've went this far, played well, throw me something close to expected and let's both walk away feeling like we won.")
