Well I struggled to get channel 4 when I was younger before everyone went digital and I live in England near Wales but back when deal or no deal started and was popular I believe we were still in the switch over period from analogue to digital so at that point I think it would have been difficult to get channel 4 in Ireland through analogue. That was my thinking but I could be wrong.
