Dealer Wars: Drew Meets His Antique Nemesis | Salvage Hunters

A remarkable Manchester library impresses Drew, a fellow dealer has lock-up in Chorley but the two men are miles apart in valuation, and a chair in poor condition holds real value.
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrapyard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

I love the British shows. I love Antique Roadshows, even the UK! Drew's shopping is so cool, visiting everywhere. Just like in the USA, a lot is prearranged, along with the sales as well. So, I know some is scripted. It has to be. Just like below, of course, they come and have a parking space! LOL. It is fun to watch though, seeing all the different places in the UK.

Does anyone know, is the show scripted? The prices Drew pays are way to high. His effort is not based in finding and picking up the piece, nor in negotiation - his expenditure lies in his restaurations. As a buyer I would like to be sure what I get has undergone a superb restaurations. With his high costs in purchasing a high quality restauration can't be made...
