The loss of appendages (fingers, toes) is another. People do not realize how much your toes help to balance your body.

Same here, particularly because it's 🇨🇦 If you haven't watched Confessions of a Junior Dr check it out, it's amazing. Every episode is available here on KZbin to watch.

Alison calling her supervisors for guidance with the meningitis case is huge, sign of a great med student. Don’t pretend you know everything, that’s how cases end tragically.

If you want to be doctor, not supposed to be emotional 😭 you must be strong to help all the patience
@elliethompson4798
@elliethompson4798 3 жыл бұрын
You can be emotional it’s called compassion. If you don’t feel compassion towards your patients then you’re not a good doctor
@californiadoll6273
@californiadoll6273 3 жыл бұрын
You can't be completely emotionless your entire hospital career. Many people go into medical field wanting to help therefore they ' in a way care ' so acting emotionless is probably not what is going to happen.

Soo...that doctor's mask (timestamp 15:07) is not sealed around her nose and mouth. Good luck with avoiding those aerosolised particles.

Misleading title, never saw anyone actually dealing with meningitis, just a junior doctor going in and out of a room had to wade thought eh whole video to find a small snippet, no mention of the bug or the treatment, might as well have asked the doctor to deal with lunch
