You were wrong sir, my Paracord was roughly 12 feet away from me. Oh wait never mind I'm trying to fix the straps on my bag which has Paracord in it hahaha... I hated the elastic keepers that come with the bag because they wouldn't hold very well and would come undone and web dominators you end up having the shock cord hanging off which bugs me just as much. Flipping the elastic keeper with the loose webbing a couple times so it stays in place? Genius. Thanks man. I'm just happy I didn't cut off the elastic keepers like I was thinking about once I got the web dominators.

Roll it up and zip tie under the roll, its best way! Won’t budge at all!

Using you're first option, but rolling out under instead of over has worked for me.

I know my reply is a 'bit' late, but this is when I am watching it. Beauty about the internet is that things last a LONG time (also a curse I guess). Anywho, I use the method you described with the para-cord, but I would add a comment.... Tie up the straps that annoy you ofc, but make sure to also leave the ones that often need adjusting throughout the day alone. If they really bug you, get used to the dangle. Also I use a large hiking backpack with LOTS more cords and probably tying them all up on a school bag (kidding, a day pack), is probably fine.
