I use an electric fence, but I don't plan near as much as you do. I use table scraps in my traps. I've caught 4 so far this year.

I'm going to have to try this . I have had a acre of sweetcorn wiped out in just a few days and the corn wasn't even ready to pick . We had a Yellow lab did a really good job at keeping things in check . After he passed boy it seem like they all came out of the woodworks to get the corn . Are labs now don't do crap at protecting things. Heck they let a raccoon live a tree right by the house . We watched that raccoon go to the farmers corn field help himself to the corn and bring up the tree .

Up here in New York we use zucchini slices dipped in sugar they eat it up like candy. It’s gotta be real can or beet sugar not some artificial flavor crap.

Thanks for an effective way to snag them. I was not looking forward to getting up all different times of the night to ask them leave---which they stop eating the corn soon as I ask them. Sure is pretty corn you have Jesus bless.

You probably have ants by time you made that trap. Now another thing to worry about. 🤣

I've had really good luck with using cat or dog food,with a few marshmallows in the box trap.Ive caught 4 in 2 weeks,but I will have to try grape jelly

Ummm .... I don't want them trampling through my corn again to get that grape flavored bread. I'd rather nip it in the bud before they step into my small corn patch, without any more damage.
