this is finally done,i kinda left this for a little bit to finish my last upload but here it is,i kept this one a bit more simple since i wanted to focus more on the meaning of the song,im do think it fits them both very well, this one was actually meant as a dedication ♥

That finals scene between them never fails to break my heart. They're out of time, in their final moments together, and Dean is realizing few different things: he has been so nasty to Castiel. He's taken his anger out on him, blamed him for things he had no control of, and brushed him aside. He didn't realize that Cas was so emotionally spent that he thought that making a deal that gave up his own life for even just a moment of happiness. He's realizing now that even I it's not the end of the world, it's the end of them, and he wasted the precious time he had. But Castiel has loved him through and forgiven him for ALL OF IT. He loved Dean so much that he fell, went against his programming time and time again, saw the good in a hopeless world, is willing to diebow, and just feel nothing but love and happiness that Dean made it out. And before he can react, it's over, and Castiel is gone. All those moments, their whole relationship, all those bottled up feelings pushed away, ALL OF IT, hits him in that final moment. And it's groundbreaking enough that in the final hours of the world, he ignores his brother's call to mourn and regret and to love. The thing that kills me is that it didn't have to end this way, none of it. Even putting Destiel aside. As a writer myself, it killed me that these characters, who had come so far with so much development and lived such hard unforgiving lives, were just slapped with a big lazy "let's just get this over with" ending. There were at least 2 or 3 possible endings that could have given them happiness, and instead we got years of story and development just thrown away by lazy writing. I'll always love this shoe and the characters, but that ending was just... idk, not enough words

This is heartbreakingly brilliant. Thanks for this incredible edit. I hate what the writers did to them at the end. After so many years of the tongue in cheek (in your face really) Goddamn flirting, eyes sex and married couple shit, Cas and Dean were done so dirty.
