Saw CC at the Long Branch bar an Grill here in Knoxville Tennessee. Got to hang out with Rob for a couple hours just drinking Heineken and eating peanuts. He said it took for ever to get Dean to build the guitar he wanted. Mainly because of consumer cost. He said he owns 11 prototypes. When he was on stage he played a Custom Bernie Rico Warlock in flatblack with a single humbucker and had the Tomb of the Mutilated girl leaning against the tomb on the 11th, 12th, & 13th fret. Huge inlay. It was probably the sickest Warlock I've ever seen. He was amazing live. Zero flash. No frills. Just straight brutality and insane stage volume.

Damn dude that’s a sic story and an amazing experience! That Warlock sounds like a wicked axe! I’ll have to see if there’s any shots of it online. I’d love to get my hands on one of his prototypes and also one of his new Deans he got last year 🤘🎸🤘

I've always liked the Caddy and even had a few, but the headstock always killed it for me. I actually stumbled across a Gibson Explorer that someone reshaped into a Cadillac, and it's been my main guitar since.

There’s only 50 made world wide and they were made from late 2007-2011 Number 50 was raffled off in Buffalo NY for a fellow musician. You couldn’t give these way when they came out and they sold on the used market for 250-350 in the USA when they came up. I had number 48 of the 50 made. There aren’t many of those White Dean logo ones maybe 2 or 3 at best world wide, Rob liked the RED logo best and it flowed with the guitar. There are no other import models everything else has been USA custom shop he plays. As for the serial number and figuring out where yours falls in the run… the last 2 numbers of the serial number denotes whether you have number 10 or number 50 I imagine Rob has number one which has that White Dean wings logo. Hope this helps you guys that own em. US - UnSung Korea 07-2007 Next two digits month made Next digit not sure Last two , your number in the run. All are either 7 or 8 digit serial numbers I’m going from memory here and all we’re made over a 5 year period totaling 50 world wide.

I’m just not into extreme shapes, it has never been my thing. I prefer Ibanez RG/RGD Series and Solar guitars, so basically a super strat guitar. However, I love my LTD EC-1000 Deluxe as well.
