I so remember the apocalypse scene where Dean said, "the last time someone stared at me like that, well, I got laid," then winked at cas. the time before when he also said to cas, "blow me, cas!" All of which during the time where dean was feeling pretty hopeless and that he couldn't do anything to save the world and felt like he was gonna die anyway. But what does a man do when he knows he's gonna die tomorrow? He starts to not give a f-ck and does what he wants and wants to do. Subtle? I think not for I noticed Cas' reaction towards the 'blow me' part. he was genuinely confused cuz 1.) dean would never say it like that and 2.) It wasn't really 'untrue' to his heart.

Sure when it comes to the whole being gay or bi thing I don't know what I do know is that what dean hates... is not homosexuality... but douchebags. He hates it when people bully someone just cause they're weak, or different, or just cause they're them. He hates it. Dean can't be homophobic cause one of Dean's great aspects is that he cares-a lot-about the people around him. During some of the (few) times he's been flirted on by a person of the same gender, yes he was uncomfortable but in a way that it was because he felt awkward.
