I have never done bjj. I’m 40 and was a really good wrestler from 8yrs to 17yrs old. This is exactly the pace I was taught at. Makes me want to find a local bjj shop that’s not going to hurt me and help me get physical again. love this stuff
@JosephBojang2 жыл бұрын
I started at 40 with no wrestling background, you’d be a boss in the gym. I love when wrestlers come in and help me get better. Y’all know the secrets of a great base.

There’s a “white belt” at my gym that’s also a wrestling coach. He’s in his 50s and I’m 23 and he absolutely rag dolls me. I can say 100% even if I tried with everything I got he’d can still rip my arms off if he feels like it. So please take it easy once you do start lol

Yes! Bjj white belt here. Few months ago I made a resolution. I was stalling too much in closed guard so I promised to myself I won't use it and focus more on open guards. So in the last few months I worked on my butterflyguard and half guard game. So thank you. Tha is very useful to my journey

white belt here also. spam dela riva into single leg x. at white belt its a literal gold mine. I X sweep purples at my gym :D Black belts prevent it solely with knee position tho lmao.

Dean, is a very intelligent person and my good friend Josh neer has spoken very highly of him. He is fluid in different languages. He trained under Fabio and I remember watching Dean back in probably 2001/2002 and remember how he was killing it on the jiu-jitsu scene. I look forward to meeting him one day.
