Charismatic people can be dangerous; I would say that he was just an unusually kind, good looking and attractive person who loved to entertain. The consistent "niceness" of his personality, humility in dealing with people, the elegance of the way he moved through life, and the way he was naturally ethical, added up to make him "cool". He was also *highly* attractive. I never realized how unique he was until I started paying more attention. No wonder he was such a huge star.

Without a doubt, Dean was Mr Easy.....easy on the eye, easy on the ear and easy on the mind, and all he ask from the audience is to take it easy and have a good time, but his secret weapon was his body, which he kept wrapped up, in that tux or in a suit. Truth is, Dean had a better physique than any of the guys of the Ratpack or most of the guys he performed with, but he kept it under wraps, unless you went to the beach with him....

You don't need to strut your stuff, when you got the stuff. The strange dichotomy about Dean Martin was, though he was an entertainer, he was not really an exhibitionist, in fact he played understated second fiddle to most star acts, while stealing the show.....a showbiz slight of hand. Greg, great love story there, I guess with Dean it was always the best of times.

+richard lawless You can improve picture quality if you have the original film that this was taped with you can remaster the video. Every time you make a copy of analog tape, the quality would decrease. Transferring the original tape to digital provides a lot more for software to improve and make what sometimes seems to be near hd. I think this includes aspect ratio as well.
