I was nine years old in 1964 when my Grandmother and I were sitting in our car waiting for my parents to return from shopping when this came on our radio. As Dean Martin sang this tune, we sang right along with him. Do kids today sing popular music, that they hear on the radio, along with their grandparents? Probably no one will see this but.. I met this guy he just seems amazing. We agree on everything important, and he even likes the same old songs I do. I want to dance with him to this song. We went on our first date this Sunday right after church together, we held hands a lot of the service and it was just wonderful. I hope this lasts, and I hope he’s the one. 💕 Update: today is our one month anniversary 🥰 everything has been great and so far it seems like he may be the one 🤍 he’s been here every Sunday and we spend time together every week. We’re very happy! Thank you all for the well wishes! Update 2: we just had our 6 month!! 🥰 I’m happier than ever and so in love with this man, truly. This song is bitter-sweet to me. There was a girl that I was romantically interested in, I thought she was way out of my league but never the less after a few weeks of flirting with her she agreed to let me take her out on a date, after I got her text telling me to pick her up in Saturday this is was first song that played on my car radio on the way to work and it was one of the happiest moments of my life. It didn't work out between us and it happened that the day we went on a date would be the last day we ever saw each other. Her mother died and she went back to her home country and I left the job and worked in a different part of the country.
