He always got too much into this song (you can see it in his eyes and listen to it in his voice: he's feeling those lyrics). I love it the first time I watched him (one video of yours, I think) performing this wonderful song live on his show, and since then it's one of my favorite songs from The One and Only Dino. lostmagiknyram ...in 1973 his divorce to Jeanne became final so he probably thinking of her and he was probably hurting too. One good thing by the end of his life and several years before Jeanne was back in his life again. I heard recently she was at his bed side when he pass. It also been one of my favorite song of his too

Actually, the funny thing is many of Dino's hits were covers (Even Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime was recorded by Sinatra and DInah Washington before Dino got to it, and it was written by his arranger/accompaniest Ken Lane). This one wasn't though. Ray Price's country hit was actually the cover, DIno's the original.
