Jimmy those dither fish were beautiful their the one's he caught in South America. I have not seen tetras like them before, I like the color a lot. Like the idea of the blue sheen bodys and red fins.I believed Dean called them Columbian Blue Tetras. In the light they had almost a rainbow color reflecting off the sides. Great tank great photography.

Ahh, finally fish in the tank. . ... we had to put this off three times cause the tank wasn’t quite right. But finally everything was in order and once again I could get together with the master of video creativity to share with the world what I had setup. Jimmy truly has an incredible talent for sharing the story with you.

DEAN!!! Thanks so much for all that you have done to inspire me with breeding!! Your ideas are amazing and I'm not going to lie i have definitely used a lot of your ideas including replicating the Fry Station!!! Thank you so much for everything you've done not only to the hobby but also with inspiring me and others. I won't go into detail on here but i have a long back story that the fish hobby along with watching you, jimmy, aquarium co-op, and others on KZbin has saved my life and given it a second chance. Now I'm about 14 aquariums in and still adding on. I can't thank you enough for what you've done and helped me out i hope i can make it out to see aquarium co-op's store and hopefully run into you, Jimmy and Corey!

@brackon10875 жыл бұрын
This is the perfection of cinematography and fishtube combined. There is enough realism that we can see the fish and the process but some great cuts and visual effects that a non fish keeper could appreciate the work that went into the final product. Don't stop Jimmy I didn't think you could get better but you have proven me wrong countless times over the years

I love how the geophagus are making the tetras school properly. Once they get used to them, you'll probably need to get something mean to chase them and keep them focused. Maybe it's my ADHD, but I hate tetras roaming all over the place! Give me a nice tight school every time.
@Dovietail5 жыл бұрын
Dean, I'm so excited that you have your own channel. Just a comment from a theater director, and that is what's best about you from a performative perspective is not the fish themselves, but your incredible knowledge about them and your experiences with them and the tips you can offer up on keeping and breeding them. What that means is you've got to keep talking. It's not surprising to me that your early videos are all interviews with various KZbin creators. You need a sidekick or a partner! You need someone to move the discussion along, because think you are very much at your best when someone is prompting you to take the conversation in a specific direction. You just need someone who is not as busy as Cory and who doesn't live in Ohio! The turtle girl video was awesome, too, because it followed the same format. If you can treat the camera like a real person, that's fantastic, plugging into the reality of all of us on the other side of it to speak to. But it sure is easier to respond to a live audience than to speak to a camera. I am so very much looking forward to your stuff! I particularly hope you will do livestreams occasionally. My very favorite thing to do is work with my fish while watching a live stream and listening to what everyone else asks.
