Arsenal have got within 5 and 2 points of city with a much weaker squad than city's especially the 22/23 season. They have challenged them without even having a top striker and with a young squad. So when arsenal sign another midfielder, a winger and striker this summer along with calafiori, timber coming in as well they will have significantly improved their squad compared to city who find it difficult to improve as they've had a complete squad for a couple of seasons now. This means arsenal are all set to overtake city. Pep is fully aware of this and he wont be renewing his contract when they finish second this season.

Look what happened when jorginho and then partey played the 6 role during the last 18 games. 16 wins, 9 goals conceded, 56 goals scored. Phenomenal. Arsenal will probably sign merino who can play 6 or 8 with line breaking passes to cover for partey. Its so obvious arsenal are winning the league this season.
