Dean Winchester, Mary and John - Trauma

I heard this song and thought it was perfect for Dean in regards to his parents, I know there’s videos with this song out there that mostly focus on Dean’s specific emotions and thoughts about himself etc, I wanted to do something different from those as there’s enough of them out there, the lyrics work really well with his relationship - or lack thereof with his parents - especially with Mary and how it impacted his emotions etc.
It’s late and I’ve been really busy the last few weeks so I’m really tired, I hope what I said made sense, lol.
Audio as usual is frustrating me, I dislike Voice over heavy videos for this specific reason, trying to balance the music and the voice overs is a nightmare when I really am music driven rather than scene/dialogue driven. The dialogue can be heard with the original background of the show if I wanted to just turn down the music I choose etc. So, it’s important to not affect the music audio as much as possible. ( This is mostly directed to those who like to tell me to turn the music down as the dialogue is really important, I’d rather remove the dialogue than the music)
I need sleep, so I hope you all enjoy it! I’m sorry that the videos are coming out in longer spaces, it’s harder to edit Supernatural now that it’s over and try and do something different so it’s not completely repeated.

Man this hurts. He's never gotten to just be DEAN. He's always had to live his life in service of others, and when he finally gets the chance to start living his own life, to do what he wants to do, he gets slapped with that godawful finale

And that's why I think Castiel was Deans true love. He loved Dean unconditionally, through every up and every down, through beatings while marked or cursed. Through arguments and hurtful words. Through Deans anger issues and fear of abandonment. And I'm not saying that Castiel is his 'savior' or anything and his only use is to save Dean, while he takes his hurtful rhetoric at times. I'm saying that Castiel saw through it and fell in love with Deans soul. Who he's petrified to show others. Castiel saw it and saw the broken, yet beautiful man attached to it. I also think Dean fell in love with Castiel, but was absolutely petrified. There's no one, besides Sam, he had such a close relationship with.

all i have to say is WOW. that was amazing and sad all at the same time. I honestly relate to Dean so much, and to Sam as well for various different reasons. Dean’s relationship with his mom and with other people in his life are so overlooked that you captured it well in this video. Very well done. This was amazing work. However, i feel for young Dean… i wish he could’ve been a kid like Sam was.

First off, I'm so happy that you're still making these videos (whether they be sad, hopeful or just amazingly dark). Secondly, great video. It really shows Dean's dark negative mind space that he had for so long, since he was a child and how the trauma that his dad (mostly because his mom was dead although her death was traumatic too) put him through affected him his whole life. He fought so hard for everyone else to be saved (because that was what he was conditioned to do) that he forgot to save himself. And when he finally realizes that he is worthy of saving himself, that he is worthy of love and all the good things a person craves 15x20 happens, I'm going feral! Great video that encompasses all that've said xD.

Hello I'm not really sure how to direct messages you but their is a song that reminds me so much of dean it's happy by the Sam Nf guy who did trauma. If you would like to listen to the song that'd be great but I don't have to put it in an edit if you don't want also I would definitely recommend watching the music video it's so great.
