Holy moly, those Bosch grinders have seen a LOT. I know working in fabrication shops, these 4 1/2" and 5" grinders run all day every day for years before they fail, so these have made their money a million times over.

I am not surprised you are more comfortable with Makita Than other OEMs. They are excellent. Their Philosophy of business is very different. I worked for them. They trained the technician and provided service and a training manual. Do not hassle with Spare parts and warranty commitment.

Dean i love how you wrap the cords up the correct way, even though theyre most likely not gonna be wrapped the right way ever again. The debate over wrapping cords can go on for days but you do it correctly. The over under method keeps cords from twisting inside & lets them simply 'fall apart' when you let them go rather than ending up in 17 different knots! I won't even let anyone else wrap my extension cord up at the end of the day(although cords aren't used too often anymore now that cordless brushless tools cover everything now). I wrap them up, and have them 'trained' from the very start the right way. The 'elbow\shoulder forearm' wrappers are the absolute worst thing for the wires inside! I hate seeing someone start doing that to the cords, its just a mess when trying to open it up. When done the right way cords will just 'fall' open. I like to take my 50' or 100' 12 guage cord and just throw it while holding the male plug end, so its nice & unlooped as it flies through the air without dealing with any knots that come from the wrong wrappings! 👍🏻👌🏻⚡🔌⚡🔋🦺🛠️🔧🗜️🔩 ✊🏻🇺🇸🦅

Most of mine are on rollers, the loose cords get indeed a “elbow, shoulder, forearm” treatment” but never have any tangle issues and though I know its bad for them never had an issue with a cord so far
@tdotw77
@tdotw77 5 ай бұрын
@@Poging2 I guess it comes down to *you* doing the wrapping & unwrapping each time so it's trained to your preference. If someone else attempts to wrap it no doubt it will end up in a big rats nest! 👍🏻👌🏻🔌⚡

Always have a set of flat-jawed vice-grips. When one wears out, I grind it into a different profile. Also like grinding the tips off of the needle-nosed vice grips and have a few pairs that are heated and then bent 45 degrees to the side.

@deandohertygreaser
@deandohertygreaser 5 ай бұрын
Nsk is one of the top bearing manufacturers. Their bearings would be made to higher tolerancees, so they generally last and perform better. Hch bearings are more of an affordable Profesional bearing. Good bearings but made to keep the price down so they don't last as long and they run a little free'er
