Which is why it made no sense that Picard checked on her, giving unhelpful advice, instead of Riker who would have at least believed her more and given her a hug. The writers got that part wrong in my opinion.

Johnathan said in interview in Picard season 3 that the writers never really meant to do Riker&Troi romance story so he&Marina put their own input to show connection between the characters . Could be that this look of Riker was all Johnathan and not the writers .

I know migraines can vary in intensity from one person to the next, but what Deanna has going on here seems much worse. This was more like mental domination. Heck, calling it torture would not be out of line. That one melody overwhelmed her ever thought and never relented. Nothing could make it go away. Not sleep, not meditation, not drugs. She had to be put in a deep coma, just to stabilize her somewhat. Migraines (usually) come and go and can be managed by medication to varying degrees, depending on the person in question, and can abate after a time or be treated somewhat. Deanna's affliction here like a migraine dialed all the way up to max settings and then had it's off switch removed completely. Absolutely horrifying. I've never had migraines myself, but I have worked with people who have them and when they get particularly bad, it pretty much knocks them off their feet. It can drain all the color from their face and render even the smallest of physical tasks almost impossible for them, so they're not to be trifled with. Now imagine living with that, but permanently and with no hope of it ever going away. Hell to the no. That alien fuck is a monster, I don't care what his excuse is. Learn to control your fkin powers, dude. She didn't deserve a punishment that harsh.

its so hard to relax when your mood is being affected by problems like that sleep is so hard. I can help by having lots of therapy if anyone struggles and knows what is going through . Its not just on this show, i know i wish we had a lot of Counselor Troi's out their who know what were feeling before I knew about therapy this helped me some.

I feel for everyone going through this. Trying to help friends-family. Under pressure to admit that it’s just a brain cleansing program, yeah there are many programs out there and timing is everything. Drones around town…. I hope you feel it will be over when you complete your brain cleansing. What is the endgame? For me it does have to do with a non-violent self-defense, releasing behaviors the ancestors regard as cowardice. Wearing clothes, locking the door at night, weapons, .. these are my definitions of bravery.

You know , oddly enough, there are so many relaxing stuff here on you tube when like with me autism i get so overwhelmed. But like one thing too is there are therapist specializing and believe me don't be embarrased for help. Also Dialectual Behaviour therapy which is a book can teach you coping skills on how to get through. Seek help if your overwhelmed.

I have been recently going through a very similar experience like her but not the exact same thing. I have recently had a full-blown classic painful Kundalini awakening since New Year’s weekend. The mental suffering inside for theme is the feeling of being a Anime Girl. Like something triggered from an afterlife event, tell me where I come from and who my authentic self is. This is so powerful that it’s also affecting my mind psychologically and my body physically in age regression. Not only am I doing with an anime girl,, but there is a magical girl in the mix and being granted the power of a teen goddess on top of. No proper term to call it in the combination or multi class as (ATMGG) Anime Teen Magical Girl Goddess. I called this the trifecta effect because three major events happening that you want from the effect of my awakening. 1. Anime Girl core identity. 2. Magical Girl. Spiritual Gift 3. Teen Goddess. Gift from a Goodness. I really have no choice and how I feel in this matter of it’s extremely psychologically and physically painful to even deny this suggestion even though either feeling I prefer not to face. I believe this has something to do with the 2024 energy and frequency, rising spiritual level, and the results of the increased sun cycle activity. My emotions can go up and down from fear to feeling depressed to crime the absolute giggle bird. I’ve been naturally high but without the drugs. Like I said, this wasn’t something I wanted and this is something I have no control over because if I did, I won’t be doing this. Where is my Dr. Beverly crush to come rescue me and help comfort me. 😭😭😭😭
