Rode through to Wilson’s Prom from Adelaide last October via Dimboola. Great place to stay. Visited some silo art at a town called Patchewollock. Experienced sand for the first time on my Xt660z last weekend in the southern flinders… wish I had a smaller bike 😂

Yeah smaller bike in the sand but the rest of the time you were cruising along like royalty waving at the peasants lol 😂

Sounds like your Sherco had little to no problems on the ride. What gearing did you use for for that trip on sand..how much black top did you Sherco end up doing on that trip..

Hi John just got the stock gearing at 14-48 which means cruise about 90kms was comfortable. Did a total of about 7 hours on tar including getting to and from Swan Hill. I don't really like doing big open Rd KMs on an enduro bike I must say. The SJP does this easy but it was far more fun on the Sherco in the sand. Got be a compromise somewhere Thanks for watching Regards Steve
