I did the same thing with my life that you did although I have been successful in my education, bought a home, had a child and a couple of husbands. I screwed up many more things than I succeeded in. I’m 70 and still working at the bedside as an RN. There are not words to describe how exhausting this is. Apparently this is my retirement plan. I would rather be camping across America. after taking care of other peoples loved ones for over 40 years, I will probably die alone. I work really hard on being grateful and investing in other peoples lives outside of work. In desperation to find meaning I have found comfort and wisdom in the teachings of the Bible.

I agree about Roy's voice. I have to say though, that Jeff Lynne has a very strong voice too. His voice may be justifiably overlooked in this band with Orbison, but his voice is fabulous. The other three have unique voices that are very pleasant and enjoyable.

When Tom Petty heard of Roy’s passing he was on the phone with George Harrison. George asked him aren’t you glad it wasn’t you? Tom replied after thinking Yes I’m glad it’s not me. This band had so much talent and they all worshipped Roy Orbison. Thanks George for putting together one of the best bands in music history! RIP. Roy,Tom and George!

Greatest voice ever heard. Only if he had lived longer was a great person. His music got me though a few bad times in life but I listened to him and it help me out with the the difficulties I went through great music!!
