My parents, grandparents and I would sit around the 'Zenith Console' at my grandparents home and watch Dean Martin and Entertainers who had their own TV shows. I do miss these days. Looked forward to when they would come on. These were the days!!!!!

Totally agree! I'm from Ireland. When I was a kid in the early 60s, we got our first tv and the National TV station was RTE and still is but there wasn't a lot of home produced programs, they were all imported from the USA and Mammy and Daddy adored Dean and Frank and Perry❤ and I'm to this day a huge fan of those. With all respect to the music of today ((I don't think anyone could hold a candle to those guys) PS One of Dean's favourite singer was a guy from the Mills Brothers (check it out) and just to finish, Dean Martin was one of Elvis Presleys favourite. Now for ya😊

Bands and Music But Dean Martin will always be one of my favorite s In a time when there were so many great singers Every Christmas me and my Played alot of Deans Christmas songs and we never missed.The Dean Martin show Dino was a likable guy.He always seemed.happy A guy you felt you could sit and have a beer with He was never the same after he lost his son Dino Frank Sinatra would try to get him to do shows with him to keep his mind off losing his boy But he didn't have it in him anymore RIP Dino

Skye Walker That’s one of the many things I loved about Dean, how he never took himself (or much of anything!) seriously, and always took the mickey out of himself and his image. I think that is probably one of the reasons why so many people, both inside and outside of the industry, loved him so much. Just about everyone who knew him and worked with him always said in interviews what a nice guy he was, with very little ego, but he was apparently extremely funny and had a great sense of humour.
