FZ was a continuation of the "Fazer" naming convention from the previous generation of Yamahas like the fz6 and FZ1. I believe the Fazer name dates back to the 90s. The MT name was much more fitting as this generation of Yamahas shares very little in common with the Fazer models except the naked styling. Fazers were inline fours in a completely different chassis.

Hello informational video, i was wondering is the oil lamp allways lighting up when the key is turned to on? or is it only when it actually needs an oil change?
@DeanosRides3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Yes, the oil light will always be on if the key is on and engine is off. Once you start the engine and it gets oil pressure, then it will go off. If it comes on while you riding, then it means low oild pressure and you will need to check the oil level. Hope this helps.

@@DeanosRides when you put air filter and full system exhaust you must do a ecu remap, but you can also put more fuel to the engine.. for the mt 09 its easy if you see videos, "how to change CO2 setting on mt 09" there are 2-3 videos.. but for mt 07 I haven't found anything.. and I put an exhaust and air filter but I will do the ecu remap in 2-3 months and I don't wont to have low fuel at some rpm..

@@bikelover5549 Ah yes, I understand now. Yes you can. I bought a FlashTune ECU system and had my bike tuned on a dyno about 2 weeks ago. The guy increased my fueling 15% because of the sealevel difference on the map I was using. I gained about 8HP in total. My bike is now pushing 75HP on the back wheel. That is about 86HP on the crank. I am so happy with it now!

Hi. Again, I am sorry for the late reply on this... OK, so I have looked into this and it looks to be model or country specific if it can be changed or not. I tried on my bike and it didn't change, but some say it does. So, apparently, what you need to do is click through so your display is showing the ODO (odometer), the press and hold the left button for about 3 seconds. If it can be changed, it should then swop between MPH and KPH. Let me know if this works for you. Cheers.
