@DeanRead I guess it's become popular, as everywhere, since lockdown. Prio to that it was relatively sparse.

Living the dream on the PW. Chip shops, free flapjacks, 4bed hostel room to yourself. Another wonderful upload...really enjoying these. Have a good days hike!

Chuckle... I made that exact same mistake, losing my path at Harrows Hill. Got into a strop with myself for a good half hour for adding about a mile to my day. The great thing about watching all the wild camping/through hiking channels, is seeing that It's not only me who gets it wrong at times. Great vids as usual Dean...ATB

I'm loving the morning uploads, I get to watch each day with a coffee and piece of toast in hand. This whole series makes me want to attempt the PW again. Knackered my knee on Bleaklow last time, rather poor. Keep up the good work!!

I did exactly the same Rob in 2011, in the same spot.
@losource5 жыл бұрын
@@jonny4626 Ha! In my case it was the heavy backpack that did it. I trained a lot before I set off, but never with a full pack. Big mistake.. Next time I'll be staying in hostels instead of camping. Too much to carry otherwise.
@jonny46265 жыл бұрын
@@losource once again mine was exactly the same. Ridiculously heavy pack, around 12kg. Yes, I plan on conquering my old adversary by using B&B's as Dean is doing.

After a 26 mile day it’s no wonder this one flew bye 😂 How fantastic to get that package too, and top marks to the lad that brought it to you after you had missed it 😎 Lots of my family holidays as a kid were in the YHA, and in the early years we always used dorms, so me and my dad would have a bunk bed between us. Later they stared to do family rooms so we got our own space, but the still used bunk beds lol Thanks for sharing Atb Mark

Im enjoying the video footage of the meals your having Dean as much as the views along your travels. Hey come on I want to see dehydrated meals, bland coffee, wet tents and strong winds, finished off with a bit of chilly foggy morning footage. Not the same these nice warm youth hostels and pubs with log fires, what do you have in your pack? more flapjack, bottle of wine and cigars ha ha?

I'm not going for hardcore camping points on this trip, it's chucked it down all today and I'm so glad I'm not camping. This journey is a personal challenge to complete something that I started 8 years ago, it's all about the walk and I want to give myself the best possible chance of finishing. Saw some poor souls in the pub tonight who are on the campsite down the road and they look like crap :-)
