As someone who loooves a Full (vegan) English, that's such a good thing to find places serving breakfast all day 😍 Yes, Otto is obsessed with squeeky toys 😂

I love seeing all the cool places you've been staying overnight! The last one by the waterfall was especially neat.

Aww, thank you so much :) The waterfall spot was really nice as I always find it easy to fall asleep to the sound of water :)

This hike reminds me of my 1986 Appalachian thru-hike when I was 21. You have long distance hiking down celebrate something even on a bad day. I am learning what the UK is like through your videos for my WHW hike for my 60th. Cheering for you and Otto! Trail on🥾🐕 TnT AT 86

Thank you so much for the encouragment, that means a lot! Wow, that's amazing that you hiked the AT in the 80s :) Must have been quite different I guess when it wasn't as popular as today?! The WHW is so beautiful. Already did it twice but definitely planning on doing it again. You see so much of the Highlands in a relatively short time which makes it ideal I think :)

@@ellihikes 1980’s more men than women, no internet, cell phones, social media, gps, satellite phone, map apps. We carried 10 days of food, no ultralight gear , had heavy boots used maps and compass, trail registers and Buddy system and yes so much less ppl and bear issues. Close knit bunch of hikers. Love you outlook on things even bad days. Thank you for you WHW encouragement!🏴

Hi Elli - just a note to say I've been really enjoying your videos, especially the recent ones as I did the Pennine Way (well, the section between Edale and Malham) earlier this year. Doing my own JOGLE/LEJOG is something I've had at the back of my mind for a while, so watching yours and Otto's adventures has been great :)

hi Elli just to say that i am enjoying your JoGLE walking episodes, i grew up in Ickornshire/Cowling and spent many times walking on the moors. I now live in N Ireland but have walked lots in Scotland, your emphasis on shorter distances each day especially for Otto is very useful for me as an older hiker, indeed it makes me feel that i too could walk such long distances. I look forward to your films of Cornwall as i spent 7 years there when i was young. Take care and thank you for your inspiring and informative films. J

Thank you so much for your feedback, I really appreciate your kind words :) Cornwall is incredibly beautiful and I'm looking forward doing the coast path there again!

You really don't like Cow's do you lol. Hi, Elli & Otto great to see you enjoying England as much as you enjoyed Scotland. More great footage with some beautiful views once again. Also, I have stopped at that lay-by Many many times myself and also walked across that Motorway where you did (Small World) and did you know you walked right past my house, well if you had gone 70 Miles East !!! Elli you & Otto take care and enjoy the sun while you can, won't be long before you see more rain and then some. 😜✌

Hahaha, I mean I like them enough to not eat them ;) But yes, I'm wary of them when hiking after a scary encounter last year on the coast path in Cornwall. They sometimes have a weird dynamic.... Thank you so much for your feedback and encouragement :)
