I've been on the fluro (33lb) for the end of the 22 season and all of the 23 season. No break offs, no lost lures and lots of fish up to 118cm landed. I've also increased my hook up rate by at least 30%, I'm sold. Still running 60lb braid for my surface luring. Cool vid 👍🏻

Thanks legend and good to hear about the fluoro mate, its super cool setting the hook with it! Like a big rubber band. I used it in the USA a lot and enjoyed it immensely.

@@DeanSilvester Yeh I run a tighter drag compared to braid and swing into the strike a lot harder. I'm not running any leader or tippit just straight through to the clip. I also don't run a full spool, just top shot it over the top of Platypus Lo-Stretch. Tight lines 👍🏻

Yeah i remember now when i was in the USA i was only top shotting as well, after a tonne of fish and those razor muscles or whatever they are called your line would need replacing each event

Unreal content mate. Only just started getting into fishing and I’m loving your channel. In episode one you said you caught the 2 day time cods at 9:30am, is this another 9:30 am cod in this video episode 2 ? So 3 at 9:30am?

Sometimes 7 of them in a group would go out on seperate boats but all get bites/fish at a certain time and then I recalled you saying 9:30 is a thing for you. Very interesting and hard to pinpoint obviously but something to take note of and try to observe more often.
