I think that when it says oculus at the start of a trailer, the trailer is made by meta. When it says beat games, then its the game studio's trailer. That's why the big packs that say oculus are all crazy (Bc its directed by someone at meta). i tink

I actually really enjoyed the Lady Gaga trailer, not liking any of the previous ones I had seen. The person that they hired for that one too was very nice and when I replied to Beat Saber's LG trailer post, the person hired actually responded to me and confirmed that it was real gameplay and that they appreciated the enjoyment because they were very very excited to do the trailer.

Your points are correct. BUT, the trailers aren't made by the team who makes Beat Saber, they're made and posted by Oculus (Meta) company. And I highly doubt the team had any say in the making of this. Side note: The trailers are not advertising the game, but the headset (the quest 2 in this case).

I highly recommend you watch Lima The Dragon. Their Beat Saber videos are in the style of the OST 5 and EDM pack trailers and are *really* well made.

I doubt anyone from the studio is even involved in creation of these trailers. Meta probably has their own marketing team who believes they know what works and even if Beat Games don't like the trailers there's nothing they can do since they don't own the game anymore.

I think the problem is that most of these ads are done by meta, who instead of advertising beat saber like other games, it's advertised more like a beverage. Focusing on lifestyle and vibes the product brings rather than accurate depiction.
