The group or demographic that is most often impacted depends on the region, education, and other factors. There are several studies that speak to what I am talking about. Yes, the beauty standards of the dominant culture has done a number on BW as well as BM, but there's no epidemic of attractive DSBW getting passed over. The most interesting thing is that looking back (and still) I've always wanted a black woman. However growing up, the girls who gave me the most shit for being a dark African kid , were black girls.
