I definitely think you should take the plunge with your hair. Last year I lost my hair through chemo and before I really long hair and now I have a pixie crop and love it! Ah thanks Gi, as I said I didn't know it would til I lost it (in fact my 2 boys shaved my head before my treatment started!) but I would definitely recommend a change in hair style, I had long hair since I don't know when so like I said do it! Hair grows back surprisingly fast! So if you want to do something drastic, go for it! If you hate it- it's good to know that it's not permanent. :) Also, (I'm going to give you some advice that I'm really bad at following myself) follow your dreams! If you've always wanted to sing professionally- now's the time to give it a go! Your covers are sublime. Nothing better that a silky, smooth voice that sounds like it came out of another era. xx

Gi, I cut I think 14 inches off my hair last year (and donated it which was great) and it was one of the best things I've ever done! I cut it from waist-length to just above my shoulders and I haven't regretted it at all! I'm growing it out again now so I can donate it next year too (depending on the growth rate)

I live right near Dollywood so it was interesting to hear someone explain who Dolly is just because its a common knowledge thing around here. Anywho, i've only been to Dollywood a couple of times (I much prefer Dolly's Splash Country) but there is definitely a lot to see & do in the area. Great video!

Gi, I live a few hours drive south of Pigeon Forge & Dollywood! You should absolutely go. If you plan the trip just right, you can go during the time when she actually comes into the park! Also, the park is loads of fun. I went when I was 8/9 & was totally bummed when it started raining & everything shut down. I'm sure it was for safety reasons. If that were to happen to you, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg are great places to have fun, shop, & eat delicious foods. There's a great candy shop where you can watch them make salt water taffy!

Kudos to you for that rear-facing car seat!!! Buzz is SO much safer rear-facing. Keep him that way as long as possible. Some kids fit in the rear-facer up to three or four years old, and they are so much safer that way.

You can find videos online, but basically a child does not have great muscular support in their head, neck, and back, and in a front-facing seat the seatbelt and even 5-point harness can only do so much. In a crash, the head and neck will still be thrown forward. In an adult, this typically isn't a big deal, partly because of the stronger neck/head/back muscles but also because of the airbag. Unfortunately, kids who are "old enough" to face forward are too little for airbags. The bag would do more damage than good, but that's a different discussion. Anyway, a rear-facing seat disperses the force of the crash into the back of the seat, not into the child's head, neck, and back. The child is pushed further into the cushioned seat instead of being thrown forward into the air. The latter can cause whiplash and other muscular damage and even broken bones and brain damage. A two-year-old child in a front-facing seat is a terrible idea and should not be sanctioned.

With wanting your hair a different colour or style, why don't you try on some alternative wigs and see what you like? I wear wigs on a daily basis and it's my way of having alternative looks on an everyday basis while still playing it safe. You don't have to do the same as me but you could try them on, decide on a style and colour and then go and have your natural hair like that, or you could always look at real hair wigs and invest I a really good one to wear whenever you fancy a different look. If you want to do something with your hair you should look into cutting it off for charity, when I was 10 (or around that age) I had hair all the way down to my bum and I all of a sudden just decided I wanted to just go for it and cut it all off....so I did! What I did was set a date and then raised money building up to that date for two charities (one being Yorkhill hospital and the other being the little princess trust and I also donated my hair to them) I ended up getting 18 inches cut off (but they only need 12-15 I think) and I raised over £3000 which I split between charities :-) I'm sorry for the long message and many brackets but I thought I would let you know because of you did do something with your hair it would be good to do it for an awesome cause!
