One of the biggest issues couples face is unmet expectations. Have we ever considered the possibility of those expectations being unrealistic? Today’s guests are Diane and Charles Wolford, pastors of Cross Point Bible Fellowship, and they’ve agreed to leave the cloak at home to keep it L.I.T. as they candidly share their wisdom on, “Unrealistic Unmet Expectations.”

Hello from South Africa. I came across your channel a few days ago and am loving it. I have been blessed by the gems shared by your guests. So authentic. The best part of your videos are the love letters you write to your future wifey. You are the epitome of the type of men that I am praying for, a man that is doing some work on himself and at the same time manifesting his future wife. This gives me hope that there are many men out there that are doing the same, and one of them is my future hubby. I have been doing some internal work on myself for the past 3 years and I am ready for God to make that spiritual connection with future hubby. Thank you for this channel.

Another Great episode 117 with Pastor Charles aka The Hood pastor He stated Dr. Tony Evans gave him that name Dr. TONY EVANS IS A great pastor unfortunately I'm not from that area I have the blessings to hear what he teach on the KZbin channel. Yes omg that was funny😂😂 HOOD PASTOR .times has change that's awesome to joke around and still praise God. Pastor Charles and 1st. Lady Diane I totally agree we as wives, Girlfriends MUST keep that in mind mot to lose ourselves By trying to reach that expectation. We as women don't want to loss what we have . It's Better to remain True to yourself Men as well be Real Never put up a front then as time goes on you no longer do those things you once did . And we look for that same treatment and when it doesn't happen you feel like you were tricked so its better to be really Men/Ladies. I totally agree plan Date Night and let no one come in between that. And Its true we as women Remember things that happened ages ago . Let Go and don't keep Receipts. On old stuff Lol that's like keeping a receipt on something you brought 2 /3 years ago and it just don't fit the same Then its time to buy a New one coat, Shoes etc. In your relationship it's good to renew your mind your spirit Throw the receipt away you got on your mate life is too short and like the 1st. Lady said it's to much energy to be talkin all kind of ways . Its better to work it out Write/ communicate come together get pass the junk and come together God put us in each other life for a?good reason (I was trying to find The Black Love Matters is it anyway you can put it back on KZbin Thanks And Congrats on your 5000New subscribers I'm one of them 🙏🏽 BLESSINGS keep up the Great work

This was definitely 1 of the best episodes of Dear Future Wifey. I really enjoyed both of the pastors' transparency. Pastor Charles really touched my heart when he stated that he wants to learn something new of his beautiful wife Diane every day, and he is ah of the gift that GOD has given to him in his wife. Really precious. And this letter Laterras is the most heart felt! Especially when you stated that the 3 weddings this weekend made you think of your future wife and your singleness journey ends with her. I pray that you are dating and saving these letters for your future wife so that her heart can be touched just as ours have! Blessings to you!

DFW has been a bright light in the chaos of 2020. From the 1st episode, there has been so much to takeaway. This episode is no exception. At times I laughed so hard, and others I sat and actually took notes. "You cannot conquer what you are not willing to confront." "I have to be in awe of what God has done." "Have a healthy dose of amnesia." All so powerful!! Loved the conversation. And congrats on the 5K+ subscribers!! Well deserved!

My heart is so full from listening to this. I love the intentionality in their relationship - making time for each other without excuses and making that time sacred, being themselves and allowing each other to be themselves. Start how you intend to finish! I co-sign this. Sometimes, we even place expectations on ourselves that mean we have to alter so much of who we are to fit the mould that society says we should - especially as women in my African culture. But then, you can only play along for so long before you can’t anymore. And when he said he is constantly learning more about his wife, and you could almost touch the sincerity and desire to keep finding out more and more about his bride..... Well... Lord, we see what you did for them 🙏

I want to thank you for this couple who kept it L.I.T. and real. I want to say I have never heard of Dr. Lois Evans until today. I just finished watching her funeral and the testimonies of how she impacted, so many lives. I cried and cried not even knowing her but praying that I too can and will be a blessing to others and a willing vessel for the kingdom. Thank you 🙏🏼

Its probably an unrealistic expectation to say to your mate how attractive your co-worker is.... In my opinion thats where wisdom comes in. I wouldnt want to cause any insecurity. I don't want my man to reference me as one of the boys. I'm.a woman. I can be his closest friend but somethings he should keep for himself....That can lead to TRIANGULATION and manipulation...but "To each his own"...

Omg I love The Wolford's!! They were so transparent and I love idea around the standing appointments. Keeping the lunch and date nights. Highlighted moment: the part where it was said, that person don't complete you but they compliment me! Just good gems throughout the podcast🙌🏾

I’ll say this and chill out for the night. These have been so helpful to watch as someone with children. These two were able to come together and see God in each other and form such a beautiful relationship on purpose…with INTENTION. 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾 Laterras, highlighting these two (and others) is so healing…THANK YOU!
