Feel like a lot of the hermits are old fashioned and edit their own stuff, which I like. It gives them their own unique style that really feels like that specific hermit. Also they don’t really even need editors, because they don’t do any of this fancy editing work, like transitions and text etc, which I also like. If they did this shit it would feel like every other carbon copy fast paced video focusing on keeping audience retention, which is not what the hermits are about, and that’s not their style.

Hey filo, if you’re seeing this, you’re are an extremely talented editor. I know you haven’t uploaded in a little while, which, if for your own personal reasons, is completely fine, but if you’ve stopped because neither gem nor Joel has given a response then don’t just give up, please! You are an amazing editor and are able to adapt your style to other people’s so well. I can barely even crop a photograph whereas you are able to bring in all these effects, adapt styles and even make Joel’s traps work! 😂 Please don’t give up if this is the reason you haven’t uploaded. I don’t know, mabey you got hired, if so I’m thrilled for you because you deserve it, or mabey you have some family or personal issues going on, and, again, this would be fine, take your time, don’t rush if there’s something important going on, but just remember, you are unbelievably talented and magnificent! You’re doing a great job and I wish you good luck!

I've had a small amount of experience making shorts and things for my school - funny videos or faux news episodes. everything here was done in the free version of Davinci resolve

The cinematics look really nice but you should lower down the fov, since it looks a bit obnoxious when it's all the way up. I recommend going less than 90 fov.
