Well, that's embarrassing. It's fixed. I need to remember to do that every time. And I have a bunch of old videos I need to check. Hero13 videos soon! That insta 360 was catching my eye at Costco. Should I go to the dark side? I like supporting American companies. But ...... Hope your well in paradise!

Hey Larry aw you mentioned my name! Thanks for turn CC back on… no need to be embarrassed 😊 my friend got insta360 action camera, have some issues and fog all the time underwater, not happy so he went back to his older model. I am happy with my hero13, not only for sports, it’s great for all type of shooting, macro lens is amazing I like it a lot

@@MicBergsma Hey Mitch. That's the other thing I wanted to test with the Insta360 Ace Pro2, the underwater setting. It looks great in theory but I need to test it myself to be sure. I am hoping GoPro can adopt some of the new features (like better low light, a wind guard and underwater profiles) in the next models. That might entice me back to the GoPro Family. Bryn

Most videos I watch on KZbin that are filmed on GoPros always have the same interruptions caused by overheating. Has this been fixed?
@GetawaymomentsАй бұрын
No. Action cameras have an overheating problem. The higher the resolution/frame rate, the more heat is generated. The cameras are sealed for water resistance, hold heat in. If you shoot long clips in a hot environment your going to have problems. BTW, most professional TV cameras have fans in them with vents, this is not a new phenomenon. The more you crank up a chip set, like a PC, the hotter it gets. Getting a Hero13 soon, I live in Florida will be posting here if there is an overheating issue.

You'd hate me, I use my action cam for recording arcade games at an arcade I go to sometime.
@GetawaymomentsАй бұрын
No hate! I'm for using action cameras for anything you want, especially not sports. I became a Gopro fan after discovering it had a great timelapse feature. Capture your world!

Not very pleased with the Insta X4, the 8K output is very noisy, and cant tell apart the 5.7K+ mode from the recordings out of the old X3.

Ohh, good intel! Stand by for Hero13 shots, two months late.

I bought an 11 a month ago.. good enough.

I hope you got it cheap! So the big Hero13 launch did not pull you in? I was going to wait till the Hero12s went on sale after Christmas but in a strange mive Gopro stocked Costco a reasonable price. I think they may be in serious financial trouble. Either way, good luck with your new camera!

After having my NoPro5, 7, and 9 constantly overheating and shutting down after about 10-15 minutes, I've given up on NoPro. In fact, I refuse to even call them by their real name.

I hear you. I just got a Hero13, and so far, so good. Shot with it all day yesterday, no problems so far. But until summer here in Florida, shooting outside for long periods of time, I will hold my "heat" and "swollen" battery review. What camera are you moving too?

@@Getawaymoments I don't really have a need for a tiny action cam any longer but I still have a really old Removu K1 gimbal camera that comes into use every once in a while and it has never failed me. I was doing a video once wearing my NoPro 9 and the Removu K1 on a tripod, both in direct light and the NoPro failed after less than 10 minutes while the K1 lasted the entire 40 minutes I was shooting. If I were looking for another small form action cam today it would probably be the Insta360 X4.

@NevadaDesertSkies Interesting. Insta 360 definitely on my radar.
